Interesting Facts About Lovy Elias Church

Lovy Longomba Elias, popularly known as prophet Lovy Elias, is a Kenyan Congolese-American musician, songwriter, producer, pastor, and life coach. He is the senior pastor and founder of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ in Simi Valley, CA.

But who is Lovy Elias, and what are some interesting facts about his church? Continue reading to find out!

Who Is Lovy Elias

Lovy Longomba Elias is a Kenyan born of Congolese descent. After high school, Elias and his belated brother Christian co-founded the Longombas, a hip/soul musical.

Elias and his brother moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2007, where the group disbanded.

This saw him transition to become a preacher and dedicate most of his time to composing and producing songs for prominent performers.

That saw his recognition in the Grammy Awards for the best producer and songwriter in 2014.

How Lovy Started Revelation Church Of Jesus Christ

In 2013, Elias formed a prayer group in Woodland Hills, California, offering weekly bible studies from his living room.

In 2016, the group had outgrown and could not fit in his living room, and he saw the need to rent a space in Van Nuys to accommodate the growing group.

In 2017, he founded the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ and started preaching as a senior pastor.

Since then, the church has over a thousand members and thousands of online followers who tune in to listen to his sermons.

Facts About Revelation Church of Jesus Christ

Now, let’s look at some interesting facts of Lovy Elias church:

1.    It’s Not An African Only Church

Though the church was founded by an African (Lovy Longamba Elias) of Congolese descent, it’s not the only African church. It accommodates everyone in the neighbourhood and serves thousands of online followers.

2.    It was founded in his Living Area

This may be unbelievable, but it’s true. Lovy started his church in 2013 as a prayer group from his living room. With time, he could not accommodate the group and had to rent out a space, which saw the need to establish the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ.

3.    He had a Relevation About the Church’s Name

Another interesting fact about Lovy church is that its name, Revelation, was revealed to him. As he says, during his childhood, he saw a vision that directed him to start a ministry, thus the name Revelation.

This could be one of the reasons why the church is based on revelation sermons. In one of his sermons, Lovy said he had a vision that was revealed to him when he was in heaven. It was about a brother who had died and had a message for her sister.

If that’s not ridiculous, then I dont know what sanity is. Moreover, the church also deals with signs and wonders, miracles, healing, deliverance, and prophetic prophecies. No wonder people flock to his church.

4.    He Has A Bible Based School

Well, it caught our attention, and we cannot go without talking about the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ bible-based school, which goes for $300 for 6 –7 courses. Well, that’s expensive if you ask me, and have drawn debates online.

But the question remains: can you train someone to become a prophet of God? And even if you can, should it be charged? Where did the understanding of Matthew 10:8 go? ‘You received free, you should give free’. Well, it’s not our case to judge, and we should leave it to the fair judge, Jehovah.

Above are details about Lovy Elias and his church, the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ. Though there are controversies about his teachings, we leave it to God.
