Top 10 Best Restaurants in Village Market, Nairobi (Joints for the Foodies)

Aside from being the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi has the tallest buildings, the longest expressway in Africa, stadiums, parks, and large malls, one of which is the Village Market.

The Village Market, located at Gigiri along Limuru Road, is a one-stop mall with a world-class shopping and recreation experience.

It features a classy gym, hospital, restaurants and hotels, fashion stores, a park, art and furniture stores, fashion and accessory stores, health and beauty stores, entertainment joints, and banking services, among many more.

If you are a foodie and can’t go without munching on something, Village Market is the place to be.

International cuisines available here are Thai food, Indian, Chinese, Italian, and local cuisines.

If you are a meat lover or vegetarian, restaurants at the Village Market have got you covered.

Here’s a list of the best restaurants to check out for top-notch dining experiences.

1. Harvest Restaurant (Largest Burger In Kenya)

Selfishly, I want to start with my favorite restaurant.

Harvest offers a world-class interior ambiance, as you enjoy watching your meal prepared in their open-plan kitchen.

The high level of hygiene is unmatched, with the cleanest kitchen and washrooms you will ever find anywhere.

The warm lights, cozy chairs, and friendly staff are just a few of the things you will get to enjoy.

You also get the opportunity to have a one-on-one with the chef while placing your order.

Though I have had the opportunity to try their seafood, my all-time favorite dish is the giant burger, served with two bowls of fries (seasoned and plain), a bowl of salad, and sauces (mayonnaise and ketchup).

2. CJ’s (Relaxed & Memorable Dining Experience)

With over 300 items on the menu, CJ’s remains to be the one place you can visit and enjoy all their dishes.

I personally do not have a favorite, simply because it makes it hard to choose when all their dishes are just out of this world.

Their Mexican pizza is worth dying for though, especially since it’s made unique by adding cheese in the crust.

You will also enjoy their flavored cold drinks, especially the Mojitos.

I would also seriously consider their pork chops, and mixed sea food grill.

Spring Noshery happens to be one of the most affordable, and yet classy, restaurants in the Village Market.

With as little as Ksh 300, you can enjoy a beverage of your choice.

The fully satisfying Spring Breakfast is the cheapest breakfast combo available at the mall.

And the amazing set-up provides comfort and relaxation as you enjoy your meal.

The wine and dine combination makes it a perfect venue for just chilling after a long busy day at work.

I simply cannot get enough of their Infinity drink, the perfect combination of Pink Gin, blueberries, and tonic.

Their best dish is the Chicken Bao Buns, though you can never go wrong with their lobster.

The art cafe is a place to just relax and enjoy a meal, cup of coffee, or piece of cake—whatever your preference is—in your own zone.

They specialize in pastries and coffee. However, they have a wide variety of dishes on their menu.

I personally enjoy their signature burger, the Art Burger. Though not the biggest, it is meaty and juicy, leaving you with only room for one of their flavored drinks.
