On average, DeVito stands at 4 feet 10 inches (1.47 meters) tall, which is below average. While the star jokingly claims to be ‘5ft nothing,’ he actually measures 4 feet 10 inches.
DeVito’s height is due to Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia (MED), a genetic condition affecting bone growth. People with this disorder are typically shorter than average and may experience joint pain during exercise.
However, his stature has never hindered him. In fact, he believes his height has helped him secure numerous roles in the film industry.
In a previous interview with The Guardian, he stated,
“It all worked out for me. But acting is like any other business — if you’ve got it in your heart that you want to write stories, paint paintings, or build bridges, if you want to do anything.
