Azizah Hashim, affectionately referred to as the Media Messiah, is a radio presenter, MC, and social media influencer.

Early life
Aziza grew up in Majengo, a slum in Nairobi. With it being a low-income neighborhood, Aziza’s parents both had to work hard to cater for her education.
Education
Growing up, Aziza aspired to be a doctor, and so she gave her all to her studies.
Given her great performance at school, her parents wanted no more than just that for her—becoming a medic.
She acquired a mean grade of A in her KCSE exam and went on to pursue her career of choice.
However, in her second year of campus, she told her parents that she had decided to make a shift to media and broadcasting.
With her mother’s support, she was able to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Nairobi.
Personal life
Aziza has a deep baritone voice. This affected her confidence greatly, with her not wanting to speak because she felt like she sounded like a man. This kept her closed up and focused on her studies just to stay busy.
She maintains a low profile with regard to her social life. This could be attributed to the cyber-bullying she has received since becoming a media personality.
She was raised in the Islamic religion, so her faith keeps her at bay.
She is determined to climb up the media ladder and hence dedicates all of her focus to work.
Career
At her young age, Aziza holds many titles; she’s a radio presenter, TV presenter, Voice Over artist, corporate MC, content producer, and social media influencer.
She started her radio career while still on campus, and went to multiple auditions before landing a contract job at NRG Radio. She became a certified radio presenter in April 2023.
She currently co–hosts the NRG breakfast show alongside Natalie Githinji, King Kalala, and 3Men Army Kenya.
She also hosts Teen Republik, a weekend show aired on NTV Kenya.

After news about her on-radio proposal went viral, Azeezah now claims that she and Prezzo never dated.
Prezzo walked into the NRG Radio studio on February 14, 2023, carrying flowers, went down on one knee, and popped the question.
Without hesitation, Azeezah said yes, and they later popped a bottle of success to celebrate their engagement with a guitarist playing for them in the background.
Almost two and a half months later, Azeezah came out to clear the air, saying that “it was never a marriage proposal, but a business proposal to be the face of Grillz by Prezzo.”
This comes as fans were starting to wonder why she never wore her engagement ring in all her social media posts, or even why after she said yes Prezzo, she never put the ring on her finger.
Given the light of this whole engagement, it is safe to conclude that the two ‘lovebirds’ only share a working relationship.
