His other brother, Muhoho Gathecha, is a successful farmer, owning large farm tracts in Kenya, especially in his home district, Gatundu.

Like other Kenyatta’s children, there are scanty details about Muhoho Gatheca’s life.

He rarely accompanied his brother Uhuru Kenyatta during his political events.

Moreover, little is known about Gathecha’s family and children.

Muhoho Kenyatta‘s prominent nephews are Uhuru Kenyatta’s sons, Jaba Kenyatta and Jomo Kenyatta.

Former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter, Ngina Kenyatta, is one of her prominent nieces.

Former first lady Margaret Kenyatta is her well-renowned brother-in-law.

Muhoho Kenyatta’s name is among the names of the global personalities that featured prominently in the then-explosive Pandora Paper leaks in 2021.

The Pandora Paper leaks are leaks of sensitive, confidential documents that seek to reveal the names of the world’s wealthiest personalities with dubious offshore financial dealings.

These leaks revealed that Muhoho Kenyatta and Nyokabi Muthama Kenyatta have been running a firm in the British Virgin Islands since 2010.

However, the leaks didn’t substantiate Muhoho Kenyatta’s involvement in illegal offshore dealings that would otherwise lead to money laundering and other fraudulent activities.
