What Is Denis Leary Doing Now?

Denis Leary, a beloved comedian, actor, writer, and producer, has been in the entertainment industry for over three decades.

He has made a name for himself with his unique style of comedy and his memorable performances in movies and TV shows.

He played the lead role of Johnny Rock in the TV series “Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll,” which aired from 2015 to 2016.

He is also the creator and star of the TV series “Rescue Me,” which aired from 2004 to 2011.

Apart from his TV and film projects, Denis Leary has also written several books, including his memoir, “Why We Don’t Suck: And How All of Us Need to Stop Being Such Partisan Little Bitches.”

Leary is still an active comedian and actor, though he took a break from his music career. Here are some of his recent works.

Acting Career

Leary starred in the TV movie “A Moody Christmas” in 2019.

He was featured in a recurring role of Frank Donnely in the 2022 crime drama Law & Order: Organized Crimes.

Leary also performs at various comedy clubs and theaters across the country, keeping his stand-up career alive and well.
