Emmanuel Lewis the Child Star
Born on March 9, 1971, Lewis grew up in Brooklyn with his siblings Roscoe, Lizziebeth, and Chris Lewis.
He finished his high school studies in 1989 and managed to get a bachelor’s degree in 1997 from Clark Atlanta University.
Due to his busy career, he could only attend school in the Fall while focusing on his career in Summer, Spring, and Winter.
Before becoming an actor, he was a singer. His single “City Connection” was a hit both in the U.S. and Japan where it ranked second on their Oricon Chart.
But his role as “Webster” is what made him a superstar. The television series made him the most popular child star of his era.

No, Lewis was active between 1980 and 2013. While running with his actor pal, Lewis was asked if he wanted to become an actor.

After being signed, he featured in several commercials and advertised lots of products. Some of Lewis’s popular advertisements include the Colgate, Campbell Soup, and Burger King adverts.
He made guest appearances in a number of Television series and movies before getting his huge break in Webster.
Lewis featured in Love Boat and Lost in London, before landing his role as Webster at age 12. Emmanuel was offered to play a 5 year old boy because he was 4 ft. 3 inches tall.
ABC aired the series between 1983 and 1987. Webster was quite popular among young viewers and they managed to air 150 episodes.
