For one, he is in the restaurant business. He owns several locations of Trejo’s Tacos in Los Angeles. The restaurant has gained popularity for its flavorful and unique menu which reflects the actor’s love for good food and a memorable dining experience.
Danny is also a music recorder who owns a record label referred to as Trejo’s Music. He launched the label to support upcoming artists.
In 2021, he co-authored a book with his friend entitled “Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood.”
The book details his rise to fame, especially the challenges he faced with drug addiction.
He spent 11 years in and out of prison for different crimes including armed robberies and selling drugs.Thankfully, the prolific actor beat the addiction.
