Cluster Points for Nursing in Kenyatta University

Being among the top ranking Universities in Kenya, Kenyatta University admits with considerably high cluster points.

You need to meet the minimum KUCCPS cluster points that Kenyatta university require to stand a chance of pursuing nursing program in the institution.

Cluster points are often computed based on your performance in four subjects that an institution require for admission in a given course against that of the best candidates in a given KCSE examination year.

It is usually calculated using the formula below:

w=√(r/m*api/spi)*48

The denotations in the formula translates to:

·        w – Weighted Cluster Point

·        c – Raw Cluster Point

·        a – Aggregate Cluster Point

·        m – Maximum performance index per cluster for all students and subjects

·        r – Raw cluster performance index per cluster for all subjects enrolled

·        api – Aggregate performance index

·        spi – Maximum performance index

Based on your KCSE results, you can substitute values into the formula strategically for you to find out whether you fit in the nursing course at Kenyatta University or not.

I won’t go into details of how to use the formula to establish whether you meet the cluster points because there is an easy way to do so (discussed below).
